Gill is an artist and printmaker living in Vatisker on the Isle of Lewis.

She uses a variety of printmaking techniques, sometimes combining more than one, to create original prints that are inspired by the amazingly rich textures and colours of the Outer Hebrides.

Gill makes small, unique hand-made books using her monoprinted papers, collages and sketches to tell visual stories of the island. She also has cards and original linoprints as well as framed and unframed collagraphs.

She teaches classes at Anlanntair in Stornoway and from her studio in Vatisker (by arrangement).

Gill is showcasing her work at her studio - Harbour Print - down by Breibhig Harbour in Vatisker (turn right after Gordon's Garage past Back Pharmacy and studio is just past second T junction on the right.)

Tom Hickman is a self taught artist living in New Tolsta on the Isle of Lewis. Tom will be showcasing his work from his studio in New Tolsta. Sheep and wool are a way of life in the Outer Hebrides and they influence Tom’s creative work. The scent of peat and the rasp of tweed enhance his folk art images of local sheep while the intricacy of his stump work embroidery will remind visitors that he is now part of that noble tradition of embroiderers that stretches as far back as the middle ages.
