Artist Statement

Nicola is a contemporary landscape painter originally from Ireland now working from her studio, an old byre, over looking the Atlantic in the crofting village of Aird Uig. Nicola graduated in Art & Design and later computer graphics but it is only over the last 7 years that she has returned to her first love painting. Working in oils, acrylics and mixed media Nicola’s paintings capture the ever changing beauty of the Island and allow the viewer to step into the landscape.
