I am an artist and musician, currently dividing my time equally between South Yorkshire and The Outer Hebrides. I worked in Primary Education as a teacher and headteacher for over 30 years, during which time I built up something of a reputation for cultivating creativity in the classroom through the use of digital technologies, including film and animation.

Whilst I now work predominantly as a print maker, I am always keen to develop other skills and have used sculpture, photography and wood carving when the need has arisen. I have completed two Arts Council funded projects and am currently Artist in Residence at Rotherham Minster until the end of March. As a musician, I perform regularly with the Irish Stomp band 'The Rogues' as well as recording and performing original music with the band 'Bent Lathes'.
