Originally from the kingdom of Fife, I relocated to the Isle of Lewis after falling in love with a local and the island. Living here on the island of Great Bernera, I’m surrounded by the most fabulous scenery. I’m constantly inspired by the geological features, the weather, coastline & the wildlife. I often use the local gneiss stones to give texture to my pieces.

Living on a small island I’m acutely aware of being as sustainable & ethical as possible. To that end I only use recycled metals, ethical gemstones, and recycled packaging for my work.

I enjoy spending my spare time with my partner & our wee dog exploring the island. The beaches and Calanais are particular favourites of ours. These places are integral to my inspiration & sense of calmness I find living here. I also create small sculptural lamps from repurposed vintage books and papers. Recently I’ve begun expanding my artistic practices, I’m excited to see where my experimentation takes me
