I am a mother, a wife, a teacher and a crofter here on the Isle of Lewis. I am a self taught artist who loves the big skies and dramatic seas which have always been a huge source of inspiration for me. I have always enjoyed panting, first in watercolour then in acrylic on canvas. My art is about capturing shape and form of the landscape using different tones of colour.

Much of my work is centred around the village of North Tolsta, Isle of Lewis. Beaches, cliffs, waves and windswept moorlands are plentiful. I do however, explore other locations of the North of Scotland including Harris, Uist, Barra, Skye and the NW Highlands.
