Margaret Ferguson's inspiration comes from the deep connection she feels with the people and the land of the North West of Scotland. Her experience of art continues to be joyful and rewarding.
Originally from the Isle of Lewis; self taught and with a lifelong interest in art, her inspiration comes from portraying the human form in paint, especially in oils. She is also inspired by her beautiful, dramatic surroundings.
