I am back living in my home village of Quidinish in the Bays of Harris since 2000 .
A Gaelic speaker , graduate of Glasgow School of Art ,I worked as an itinerant art teacher, brought up family, before opening my studio Gallery 15 years ago .I now enjoyfreedom to paint full time .
Awarded CRMackintosh/France Residency in Collioure 2014.
Watercolour is the main medium I work in but Inkwork I also love .
The crofting environment ,varied landscape ,the Machair flowers ,St Kilda ,are the main inspiration for my work .
